The White Room – Church Street

Elegance at it’s best!img_1184

Recently, The White Room on Church Street celebrated their first anniversary by introducing a new and improved menu. They are looking at offering a little more than the usual cafe-style grub by introducing new options like pastas and sliders to appease our ravenous appetites.

This ‘all white cafe’ located in a quaint corner of The High Gates Hotel is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of cuppa or munch on some of their continental fare. The European Cafe style ambiance is sure to remind you of a Tiffany themed party. I fell in love with the cafe at first sight, it’s got a very relaxed vibe and it’s undoubtedly one of the cutest cafes in Bangalore.

As part of the new menu tasting, we were treated to some delicious Spinach Soup, Pastas, Chicken Stroganoff and the most delicious Banoffee Pie. My favorite were the Chicken Sliders, if you’re a pesto lover, the you’re definitely in for a treat. And ooh the Banoffee Pie was simply delicious, fresh bananas sandwiched in a lovely caramel sauce topped with a generous amount of fresh cream. The Cheesecake was great too, however I would have liked it to be a little more creamy and we missed the topping, so maybe I’ll save it for my next visit.

Overall a wonderful place to unwind and the perfect get-away from the bustling Church Street. It’s a great place to hangout with friends and family. They have a small indoor seating as well, but I would recommend sitting outside and enjoying the Bangalore winters with a cup of hot coffee or soup.
